Post
Systems

The use of stainless steel posts in Commercial balustrades, stairwells and verandas is more traditional and far more widespread than other Frameless systems, especially when glass is not incorporated into the design.

Post Systems

With the inclusion of steel posts and glass panels you can create stunning, contemporary balustrades with the emphasis on the structure as well as the invisibility of the glass.

The option of toughened or laminated glass panels with vertical steel baluster posts achieves a contemporary look with an option of a wooden or stainless handrail. A post and panel system is a practical system for staircases and other commercial applications which do not require a more minimalist channel approach. By using intermittent posts the thickness of glass can be minimised leading to improved costs compared to other systems. You still benefit from having glass panels between the posts which are fixed at 1m to 1.2m centres, affording optimum light and visibility with matching economy.

A further option between posts for use in Commercial applications is to have tensioned steel cables, with eye bolts secured to the end posts and pass through holes to the intermediate posts. Using 4mm or 6mm diameter stainless steel tensioned cables at minimum 100mm centres this gives an architectural look and feel, fitting in especially well with coastal and riverside projects.

For Juliet balconies and similar single panel applications we offer purpose designed systems with posts or rails to the top and bottom or to each side of the glass panel. The glass is either housed within a groove or secured with clamps.

With all post systems customizable elements such as round or square posts, round or square handrails, brushed or mirror polished, RAL painted finish all allow you to further enhance the unique appearance of your system. Wooden handrails are a further option if you require a contrast in materials to add a bit of warmth to the overall aesthetic.
