Survey
Site surveys are inspections of an area where work is proposed in order to gather information for a design to assist in understanding the manufacture, material and labour requirements. It can determine the precise location, accessibility and location of obstacles.
Before we move forward with a project we will evaluate if a survey is required. Whilst an architects drawing or rendered sketch can show the design it's still important to know the exact details prior to quoting. Uneven ground or out of square apertures will have an effect on the cost. Access to the point of installation must be assessed as to how the glass arrives to the point of installation.
At Urban Square we take pride in our hands on approach to customer enquiries, surveying circa 90% of projects in order to minimise the risk of not fully determining all the requirements which can lead to unnecessary delays on site and additional cost.
