Fixing

For a striking solution you can use circular stainless steel buttons which clamp the glass to the wall or string with an adjustable spacer allowing the glass to project off the surface.

Button Fixing

For Residential balustrades and staircases the glass is clamped along the base using a series of button fixings above and below each other allowing the glass to be installed inline. The thickness of the glass can range from 12mm toughened upto 21.5mm toughened and laminated depending on the application and size of glass. This solution is ideal for smaller balustrades, Minstrel galleries and for curved and winder staircases where a base channel cannot be used. The stainless steel buttons have an adjustable rear spacer which prevent dirt and dust being trapped between the glass and wall/string. The use of buttons adds an architectural look showing off the fixings as much as the glass itself. The use of low iron glass with no colour to the flat surface and very little colour to the outer edge adds to the invisibility of the barrier.

For Juliet balconies a point fix system works very well with the glass being clamped along the lateral edges with the glass oversailing the opening  giving an unrestricted and open appearance from the inside whilst conforming to building regulations.
